I love Wayne Thomas Batson (or at least The Door Within Trilogy!)

I love to hear that! He and Chuck Black exclusively shaped my first writing skills XD. His other books are wonderful as well. The Myriadian Constellation is a thick older-teen fantasy series (but I warn you, it's uncompleted!).

Hope your tip helps!

LOL I know people who have both skills, they are geniuses! All I can do with music is listen to it and change the lyrics sometimes (or translate them). But I'm sure I wouldn't trade my ability to write for music, instead I would seek to learn musical skills. We have a lifetime for it! Who says we can't be both at the same time?

That's a great question! I do actually play the guitar, but I wouldn't say I write music. ☺️

That's pretty cool!

Woah, this is pretty encouraging, after reading it it made me want to write fantasy (or at least continue what I already have). I suppose leaving the editing behind while we let the words flow through the veins of our thoughts works for other genres too.

What a shame you don't write music!

Go for it! Until you're interested in pursuing publishing (at which point editing has to be done), write with abandon!

XD I know right!? I sometimes say that I'd be willing to trade my writing skills for music skills. I'm not entirely sure that's true.
